What You Will Do
- Collect and analyze capital markets’ and macroeconomic data related markets and economic and business activity
- Align research with strategic goals and initiatives and monitor market activity and strategy to produce insightful market reports and technical and informative notes, conducting comprehensive studies and publishing impactful articles adapted to the needs of the company and the demands of different strategic stakeholders for the company
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date statistics for both internal and public platforms, enhancing data accessibility and reliability
- Help in the monitoring of the evolution of the businesses, the activities and strategic movements of the main international Financial Markets Infrastructures operators (FMIs) in the areas of strategic interest for SIX Group. n of that are considered relevant in areas like defining strategies or business orientation of the company
- Mantain relationships with international federations of exchanges mainly in the statistical field, supporting the BME-SIX Group representation, supply periodic statistics from BME markets, questionnaires and support to harmonization efforts and foster academic and industry relations by building and maintaining strong relationships with academic institutions, universities, financial associations, and other key stakeholders
- Conduct visits and conferences for groups of students at the Barcelona Stock Exchange, preparing the eduational materials and presentations
What You Bring
- University Degree in Economics or Finance. Master degree specialized in finance will be valued
- Initial experience in analytical skills regarding interpretation of complex data, identification of trends, and generate actionable insights from market reports and studies will be valued
- Initial experience in conducting thorough research and producing clear, concise, and impactful articles and reports will be valued
- Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint and ability to prepare presentations for senior management. Power BI is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively and connect with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in Spanish, English and Catalan; German or French is a plus
