 ESG Analyst (80-100%)

SIX is looking for an ESG analyst and for our ESG Product Management Team in London or Zürich. The role will be focused on the development and promotion of innovative data and scoring concepts, linked to our new capital markets solutions workflow, and to build the foundations for our ESG index offering. Moreover, the role will support our efforts to align with SIX’ Sustainability Strategy. It will define, monitor and report sustainability product and services risk parameters in alignment with the SIX Group Risk Inventory and SIX’ Enterprise Risk Management system. 

 

 

What You Will Do 

  • perform ad hoc (ESG) research, policy and conceptual analysis of relevant ESG ratings and scoring concepts, especially for the SME and capital markets value chain workflow
  • support product related methodology documents and data / ratings / product workflow concepts
  • maintain and support ESG product risk and services analysis, monitoring and reporting in line with the SIX Risk Inventory, Enterprise Risk Management system and the SIX Sustainability Strategy
  • support ESG products and services GAP analysis for SIX and regular documentation and coordination of SIX’ Sustainability Products and Services (SPS) Council
  • act as an ESG product ambassador to build awareness and understanding of the offering internally and externally
 

What You Bring

  • prior experience in an analyst role in financial markets and working with financial data products 
  • a keen interest in conventional and alternative ESG data and methods, and sustainable finance solutions for capital markets, ideally you have studied these subjects or worked in this field
  • competence of drafting compelling presentations and of writing well-structured methodology documents and workflow concepts
  • ability to understand and work within regulatory guidelines and in a risk- and compliance-related environment
  • excellent verbal and written English
