Finance Apprentice

We are seeking an individual to undertake a Finance apprenticeship with us. This role is ideal for a candidate looking to start their career in book keeping / accounting or would suit an individual looking to re-orientate their career. An apprenticeship programme will be structured for the right individual towards achieving AAT standard. The programme will involve on the job learning alongside personal development training and finance related technical skills training. The apprenticeship programme will provide you with exposure to several areas with the eventual goal being that you will be able to manage autonomously a selection of tasks under minimal supervision. The successful applicant will be mentored by the Head of Finance for the UK.
What You Will Do
- assist in the Sales invoice process, monthly debtor reporting, credit Control, credit checking new customers, process customer sales & cancellations
- bank Reconciliations, assist with company credit cards, manage staff cash expenses, prepare VIM Accruals
- mobile phone control, archiving, obtaining document sign off, filing, month end SAP uploads, downloading IC invoices
- quarterly VAT return, capitalised Commission releases, bad debt provision calculation, FX analysis, lease accounting, impairment testing, depreciation calculation, liquidity reporting
