Fixed Income Specialist
London | Hybrid working up to 60% | Reference 6738
This role has been created as part of an investment programme in fixed income, as SIX continues to successfully execute its growth strategy. The position reports into the Head of Fixed Income Product Management and is tasked with owning the build and growth of various global fixed Income products, strategy and go to market for reference data and corporate actions, but also leading and supporting other fixed Income initiatives such as pricing, analytics, etc. The successful candidate will have combined commercial experience with in-depth financial products knowledge, with a particular focus on fixed income data (reference, corporate actions, pricing, analytics, etc) to extend business opportunities within existing and new market segments. They will also work directly with SIX customers, partners, and SIX internal teams to grow fixed income product lines. You will be expected to Direct and provide clear requirements as a senior stakeholder and decision maker to the relevant platform and technology teams to ensure we are executing most efficiently and effectively to deliver on our client needs.
What You Will Do:
• Own the strategy and growth initiatives for FI (with a specific focus on )Reference Data and Corporate Actions – analyse feedback, demand and industry trends to further refine and adjust the roadmap and work closely with Sales on customer segments to target for UAT and generate commercial success.
• Work closely with a recent acquisition Factentry, based in India, and with the Head of Fixed Income, provide support, expertise and direction on product roadmaps and set standards for key metrics for data quality and timeliness.
• Develop use cases for specific client segments and also work with data operations and data sourcing teams to ensure our data production priorities align with product and commercial priorities.
• Work with other specialists on pricing, packaging, marketing, promotion, sales administration, you will ensure the product line exceeds customer expectations in all areas to meet the overall strategy and commercial targets you have set.
• Educate and guide the data operations teams on client needs, industry trends and provide inputs where we need to develop skills/expertise as we build out a world class Fixed Income capability and act as the ambassador and champion for Fixed Income, representing SIX both internally and externally at events where FI Data is being presented or discussed.
What You Bring:
• 10+ years’ relevant experience working within a Fixed Income specialist area in the financial services industry or have worked across other asset classes which includes Fixed Income
• Experience in leadership roles, leading large global initiatives, dealing directly with senior stakeholders, clients and sales organisations.
• Commercial background gained in sales or product management within B2B space.
• Excellent analysis skills, including creation and ownership of business cases.
• Strong English language skills and experience in written communication, presentations and papers
