IT Solution Designer
London | working from home up to 60% | Reference 5415
You are going to be responsible for the design of end-to-end IT solutions and of the respective alignment to architecture roadmaps in order to meet the current and future needs of the business.
The role provides expertise and guidance on the development of, and modifications to, solution components to ensure they take account of relevant architectures, strategies, polices, standards and practices (including security) and that existing and planned solution components remain compatible.
What You Will Do
- work closely with architect and technical leads to support a consistent design authority setup
- translate architecture roadmap into implementation and solution details, with a particular focus on reaching strategic goals in pragmatic and opportunistic ways
- design technology solutions to assist the business in meeting their business objectives including technology solutions and changes to service
- collaborate with business units and technical experts to develop solutions that meet requirements specifications to ensure alignment between customer expectations and IT capabilities
- develop and document solution design and solution requirements
What You Bring
- excellent organizational and communication skill (verbal and written)
- ability to convey the key messages based on different type of audience (i.e. technical team, product owners, business stakeholders)
- senior experience in designing complex solutions based on stream oriented architecture deployed on cloud and / or on-premise
- previous experience in dealing with an application landscape composed of newly built services and legacy components
- previous experience in designing cloud-based data services, ideally where the commercial proposition focused on client data delivery or sharing via public cloud services
- flexible mindset, goal-driven and analytical attitude
