Application Manager

We are seeking an Application Manager with some experience with Marketo application to serve as the central point of coordination between internal stakeholders, end users, and external vendor partners to ensure the smooth operation, optimization, and governance of our Marketo instance. This role will drive cross-functional alignment, translate business needs into technical requirements, oversee vendor deliverables, and ensure that Marketo supports our communication processes.

What You Will Do
- Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication, acting as the primary liaison between Marketing users, internal technical teams, and the technical Consultants to facilitate effective communication and timely delivery of solutions
- Gather, document, and prioritize user requirements; translate business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications
- Manage change communication to users regarding new features, process updates, and system changes
- Oversee day-to-day operations of Marketo, including campaign setup oversight, asset management, and system configuration in partnership with marketing operations specialists
- Coordinate on integrations, access management, and security reviews and ensure documentation is up to date
- Serve as the main point of contact for the Vendor; manage contracts, SLAs, and escalation paths
- Plan and coordinate vendor-led releases, enhancements, and troubleshooting activities, validate vendor deliverables against requirements; oversee testing, acceptance, and rollout plans and track and report on vendor performance and improvement opportunities
What You Bring
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing operations, marketing automation, or related roles
- Hands-on experience with Marketo (Adobe Marketo Engage) and its core features
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and external vendors; strong project management and communication skills will be positively evaluated
- Understanding of data privacy, compliance, and governance in marketing systems
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language
- Strong documentation, meeting facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English (both verbal & writing), German and Spanish are a plus
