Are you a student with excellent organizational skills and an interest in the financial industry, looking for an exciting internship in Securities Services? We are looking for a bright, dedicated team player, who will like to join our Global Asset Services team for a minimum of a six-month internship to provide hands-on support in managing the day-to-day operations of Asset Services.

Our team, located in Switzerland and Spain, is responsible for Asset Servicing in the Domestic markets. We process all issuances and corporate actions in close cooperation with issuers, involved custodians and market participants. You will be part of a specialized team in which you will gather relevant practical experience and insights into the securities value chain and also the cooperation with various interfaces will enable you to build up a broad network. 
The role will be based at our Las Rozas office. 

 

 

What You Will Do 

  • manage registration/deregistration of securities in the Spanish market
  • support SIX issuers and their agents on their day-to-day business
  • identify and implement opportunities to improve and automate our processes liaising with other Asset Servicing team members
  • provide ad hoc support to the projects related to the Asset Servicing team
 

What You Bring

  • bachelor's or master's degree related to Business administration, economics, etc. Knowledge of financial markets will be also a plus, but is not mandatory
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational skills
  • willingness to collaborate and work autonomously, paired with good time management skills and with a continued motivation to learn 
  • strong analytical skills with an eye for details and a team member mindset
  • very good verbal and written skills in Spanish and English (B2 minimum) to interact with our international colleagues
