As part of our international expansion plan, we are looking for an operations and customer support specialist for our Data Science and Analytics team in SIX BFI.
SIX BFI is one of the largest and most recognized market data providers in the world, with global datasets of financial markets information. Sitting in such a huge amount of information, SIX BFI is fostering its Data Science and Analytics team based in Madrid.
We currently have 3 Data Science SaaS products for Financial Regulation and Investor Protection: Transaction Cost Analysis, Market Quality and Best Execution analysis and Trade Surveillance for automated market abuse patterns detection. Our clients are international banks, brokers, and asset management companies.We have an interdisciplinary team of 20 people between 26 and 40, with a great working environment and mutual support based on SIX culture and values.We will teach you everything you need to know about the thriving Capital Markets industry, and you will have the opportunity to improve your technical skills as well.
What you will do
- Client’s onboarding, training, and troubleshooting (email and Teams meetings)
- Monitoring, system configuration and operations
- Anticipate, identify, report and track defects in the system
- Escalate complex issues and provide context to the reason for the escalation
- Identify client’s needs and propose product improvements
What You Bring
- 3 years of experience in client support with the technological services (web applications)
- Technical skills (Linux, python, SQL, etc.) would be a plus
- Interest in the Capital Markets industry and eager to improve her/his technical skills with excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, solution-oriented, passion for details, proactivity and teamwork
- Proficiency in Spanish and English and French speaking would be a plus
- Capital Markets knowledge would be a plus
