Automation Engineer (WAF & IAM)

SIX is looking for a motivated, talented, and experienced Software Engineer, who is passionate about innovation, to help us build and run a highly efficient, scalable and automated Web Entry Platform for our services.
We are ‘T-shaped’ engineers with international team set-up located in Spain and Switzerland. We work cross-functionally with Architects, Engineers and developers across multiple teams in a rapidly evolving international environment.
To be successful in this role, you have a background in automation and thrive working cross functionally in an Agile Team. You will work to standardize and automate the processes (Infrastructure as Code) of our WAF / IDM Platform.
What You Will Do
- work as Software Engineer in a DevOps role within a scrum team
- building and maintaining multi-stage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Ansible, OpenShift
- operate and automate the central WAF/IDM platform
- stay on top of latest developments in automation and platform engineering and educate other team members
- on-call duties
What You Bring
- good experience with modern programming languages (e.g. JAVA, go) using frameworks Spring and react
- experience with containerization (Kubernetes), infrastructure as code and good experience with automation frameworks
- experience with log aggregation products (Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus) and knowledge and experience in monitoring
- communicative team-player with good self-management capabilities
- proficient with English both verbal and in writing
