The IT Infrastructure Consultant supports the Business Unit ITs with their needs for IT infrastructure services. She/he provides consulting for integration, based on standard products and services, and works on blueprints and processes. To achieve improvements on the ease of integration and the delivery of our products and services, he/she closely collaborates with the respective product teams. Being a trusted advisor and contributor for important initiatives, from very early stages in M&A to the start of new business and technology implementations, is key in this customer-centric role.
What You Will Do
- consult Business-Unit-ITs on infrastructure, products, non-functional requirements and deployment models, act as a SPOC in initiatives
- create (and own) blueprints, checklists and process definitions for integration and M&A
- continuously improve overarching capabilities for integration, fostering self-service and self-guided service-onboarding
- give feedback and work out improvements on products, service offerings and –models
- represent IT Infrastructure in M&A and due diligence activities
What You Bring
- bachelor’s degree in IT with solid experience working in IT infrastructure environments
- proactive mindset and consulting skills for open collaboration with customers
- willingness to grow, continuously learn and broaden your horizon
- strong methodical skills (to gather and structure requirements and overarching solution designs)
- very good communication (from engineering to management level) skills (English is a must)
