 IT Project Portfolio Coordinator

BME is the infrastructure of all the securities markets and financial systems in Spain and is owned by SIX.

 

Are you enthusiastic about exciting projects in the financial industry? Do you enjoy working with internal and external interfaces and are you good at organizing and planning? Then become part of our IT Program & Service Management team as an IT Project Portfolio Coordinator and provide support to the Securities Services area at SIX and BME.

 

 

What You Will Do

  • gather an overall overview of the IT project portfolio and provide the C-level with insights and status of the projects
  • develop the role of Project Manager and IT coordinator in key projects that contribute to the success of the Securities Services business
  • actively participate in the yearly budget process of the projects and IT applications
  • support IT Engineering teams with continuous improvement tasks: search of synergies, search of efficiency using new tools or using the existing tools on a different way, coaching them in terms of software development methodology, agile, SCRUM, etc.
  • work in a dinamic, multi-located and international team based in Madrid and Zurich
 

What You Bring

  • at least 3 years of experience in a project management area, ideally in the financial industry and/or related with IT projects
  • knowledge of different project methodologies such us traditional ones (waterfall) and more agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
  • good communication skills as well as systematic and accurate working methods
  • open-minded approach, keen on listening and understanding different ways of thinking and reach consensus
  • strong analytical and conceptual skills with an attitude of continuous learning and no fear of diving into new challenges
  • fluent verbal and written skills in English and Spanish. German would be a plus too
