IT Requirements Engineer

We are looking for an IT Requirements Engineer to join our IT Clearing team within the Post-Trading area who thrives at the intersection of business and technology. In this role, you’ll be the vital bridge between stakeholders and development teams, ensuring that business needs are captured, structured, and transformed into technical deliverables that drive real impact. What You Will Do
- Engage with colleagues at all levels to understand and meet business requirements.
- Conduct requirement analysis, create user stories, and perform current vs. target impact analysis.
- Lead stakeholder interviews to gather insights and validate expectations.
- Translate business requirements into clear technical documentation.
- Understand and define non functional requirements.
- Collaborate with technologists to drive delivery within an agile framework.
- Contribute to reducing security and operational risks, in line with policies and standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance efficiency.
What You Bring
- A degree in Computer Engineering or a similar technical field.
- More than 5 years of demonstrable experience as a IT Requirements Engineer, including management of IT projects (closed projects, software maintenance, and evolution).
- Strong analytical skills and a mixed technical-functional profile: familiar with software development methodologies and knowledgeable in financial markets and post-trading.
- Proven experience in requirement elicitation, documentation, and communication with both business and technical teams.
- Excellent verbal and written skills in Spanish and English (German is an advantage).
- Knowledge and experience with Agile methodology.
- A proactive mindset, curiosity to explore innovative solutions, and the ability to transform complexity into clarity.
- Familiarity with tools such as:
- AI (Prompting), Azure DevOps Boards, Copilot, Confluence, GitHub, ITSM, JIRA, Big Picture, PowerBI, SonarQube, Test Automation Framework.
