The Container Platforms product team is responsible in running system critical financial infrastructure for Spain and Switzerland, including instant payment, interbank clearing, supporting applications for stock exchanges and many more. The purpose of your work will be to run and innovate infrastructure that is relevant to millions of people daily.
What You Will Do
- Manage and enhance global-scale Kubernetes platforms, including OpenShift and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), focusing on event driven patterns, automation, connectivity, security and observability.
- Operate our Kubernetes platforms and support customer requests. Participate in paid on-call rotation for troubleshooting.
- Participating in companywide projects as a subject matter expert in Kubernetes, cloud native application architecture and containerization.
- Drive automation using Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) and foster continuous learning by sharing expertise within the team to stay at the edge of Kubernetes platform technologies.
What You Bring
- Completed vocational education, apprenticeship in IT or a bachelor's degree in computer science or comparable qualification
- At least three years of experience operating or administrating Kubernetes clusters / cloud-native technologies in both private and public cloud environments, including tools like ArgoCD, ArgoCD App of Apps pattern, Helm, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, Grafana, Prometheus, and Elastic.
- Mandatory hands‑on experience with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) and at least one year of experience in Kubernetes platform engineering or similar roles.
- Positive, motivated, and collaborative, with a strong sense of ownership and autonomy; proactive in sharing knowledge and experience in Agile methodologies.
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach to problem-solving, fluent in written and spoken English, with German or Spanish as a plus.
