DevOps / Systems Engineer

While performing within this highly skilled team, you contribute to project work, join forces with the business, as well as corporate security, application- and platform owners. The team is responsible for the design, deployment, security and management of critical services like Public Key Infrastructures (PKI), Multi Factor Authentication (MFA), Azure EntraID, Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS), Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) and the appropriate management systems. We are currently seeking an experienced DevOps/System Engineer to join our Critical Infrastructure team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in enhancing our development and operational processes, ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality software and services. You will also be responsible for deploying, maintaining and administering several Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions, which are core components of our infrastructure.
What You Will Do
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Develop and maintain monitoring solutions to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of applications / services. Analyze system performance and troubleshoot issues to optimize resource utilization.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Conduct regular security assessments and respond to vulnerabilities and incidents.
What You Bring
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.). Solid understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI). Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Strong knowledge of system administration, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Multifactor Authentication Services (RSA), networking, and security. Experience with version control systems (Git).
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a keen ability to identify and resolve issues in complex systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in German and/or Spanish is a plus.
