 Microsoft Teams System Engineer

We are recruiting a System Engineer speciallized in Microsoft Teams, communication platforms and Teams Telephony to continue our journey from on-premise to the cloud. In this role, as part of our global and international team, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation and optimal utilization of Microsoft Teams collaboration tools and telephony systems within the organization. This role combines technical expertise with excellent communication skills to provide support, troubleshoot issues, and optimize collaboration solutions for our internal clients.



What You Will Do

  • provide technical support for Microsoft Teams and Teams Telephony, addressing user inquiries and troubleshooting issues promptly, collaborating with IT teams to resolve complex technical problems

  • create documentation and user guides to facilitate self-help resources

  • investigate telephony and collaboration-related issues (call quality, messaging, and conferencing problems, etc) escalating complex issues to higher-level support or vendors when necessary

  • configure and optimize Microsoft Teams and Teams Telephony settings to align with business needs

  • monitor and fine-tune telephony systems for performance and cost-effectiveness

  • ensure compliance with security policies and industry regulations for collaboration and telephony systems and implement security best practices to safeguard communications data

What You Bring

  • bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. An equivalent combination of education, certifications and experience may substitute a degree

  • a minimum of 3 years of experience in supporting Microsoft Teams and Teams Telephony solutions, administration and troubleshooting, working with Microsoft 365 enviroment 

  • understanding of VoIP telephony systems and protocols and familiarity with network and security concepts related to collaboration tools

  • certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Teams Administrator Associate or similar are a plus

  • advanced English and Spanish is a must, German will be highly valued, but not a must

  • analytical and problem-solving skills with strong teamwork and collaboration mindset and excellent communication and interpersonal attitude

  • open to do rotative on call duty service (this is economically compensated)
