Network Security Engineer

Our product “Security Orchestration” is all about security policies and automation on firewalls. Thanks to your work as a Network Security Engineer, SIX's global and critical network security infrastructure runs smoothly. Do you have experience in operating complex network security infrastructure? Is your know-how in other IT areas helping you to assess overall situations and quickly identify problems? Do you communicate with customers, maintain constructive cooperation with internal teams and partners, and are efficient working in a global team? You can expect working in a global environment with an experienced and dynamic team with about 10 employees mainly located in Switzerland, responsible for engineering and operations of firewall rule management, where the needs of the customers are in the foreground. In addition, you will be involved in international projects and actively shape the security infrastructure of SIX.
What You Will Do
- consulting, conception, design and engineering of network security solutions worldwide
- technical review and implementation of changes
- support for compliance requirements (audit, internal and external regulators)
- analysis and troubleshooting (second and third level support), including log and data traffic analysis
- interdisciplinary know-how development, maintenance and exchange within SIX for the areas of Network Security
What You Bring
- minimum 3 years industry experience with Firewall-Workflow tools (e.g. Tufin, AlgoSec), Firewalls (e.g. PaloAlto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA), Routing / Switching and infrastructure automation
- experience in engineering and operating complex IT infrastructure environments
- team player, dynamic, independent and dedicated personality with a willing to learn and curious mindset
- strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- good command of English, both written and spoken
