 Orchestration/Automation Engineer

And SIX is right at the center of it all. We are looking for you! You will be part of a dynamic team that protects SIX ecosystem. As a member of our Platform Security Services team, you will apply your deep technical know-how to support and consult our internal customers by operating several Security tools. You will work hand in hand with technology partners to engineer our security stack, increase the level of automation, and evaluate improvements. 

We will organize as well a tailored onboarding plan for you including a two weeks stay in Zurich and after that you will work under a flexible hybrid model (60% of remote working and 40% in the office).




What You Will Do

  • operate our security orchestration tool (Cortex XSoar) and / or vulnerability scanners (e.g. tanable)
  • define and implement interfaces to surrounding tools (e.g. asset management)
  • configure orchestration tool and or vulnerability scanners (to empower enrichment of scan results, create incidents and contribute to further develop our security capabilities)
  • maintain current playbooks and automations and build new content for new use-cases
  • support configuration of downstream vulnerability scanners
  • collaborate with Vulnerability managers to optimize scan results / orchestration performance and with Tableau Engineer to improve self-reporting

What You Bring

  • bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • hands-on experience (at least 3 years) in orchestration tools (e.g. cortex, phantom or similar) and / or vulnerability scanners (e.g. tanable) and fascination by the always changing cybersecurity landscape
  • you are familiar with Python (or similar scripting languages) and JSON and you worked at interfaces between tools
  • some Linux System Administration experience and with Docker is a plus
  • positive, proactive attitude and an independent work style, with willingness to improve your domain know-how and grow through working on different projects
  • excellent communication skills in English to interact with your colleagues in Switzerland and abroad
