Platform Security Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Platform Security Engineer to join our international team based in Zurich and Madrid. As Platform Security Engineer you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between cybersecurity, risk & governance and the platform teams. You will analyze security and audit findings, coordinate mitigation plans and consult the platform teams in different security topics. What You Will Do
- Analyze platform vulnerabilities and ensure robust security practices
- Coordinate and maintain an overview of all internal and external audit processes, findings, and action plans in collaboration with the internal Governance, Risk and Compliance department.
- Provide expert consultation to platform teams (Database, Windows OS, Linux OS, Backup & Storage) to address and resolve security findings
- Report and communicate security risks and compliance metrics to stakeholders effectively
- Implement and monitor System hardening across platforms in Tripwire
What You Bring
- Strong knowledge of platform security concepts, vulnerability management, and System hardening (Experience with Tripwire is a plus).
- Experience with Windows OS (2019, 2022); Linux OS (RHEL), databases and backup/storage systems as a plus as well as collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Confluence, Jira, and SharePoint.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, PCI DSS, NIST, etc.).
- Proven ability to manage audit findings and develop mitigation strategies and coordinate the implementation of them with the platform teams.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills to bridge technical and compliance-oriented departments, with strong verbal and written proficiency in English; Spanish and/or German is a plus.
