SME Growth Markets Development Analyst

Where will you work? BME Growth and BME Scaleup are BME's junior markets. Aimed at high-growth SMEs, they have experienced great development in recent years and today bring together more than 160 companies with an aggregate value of €20 billion. BME Scaleup is a recently launched market, specialized in smaller companies, classified as "scale ups". Your job will be based in Madrid.
What will your job be like? Our team is multidisciplinary and works in an agile and collaborative way so that more and more small companies can finance their growth in the stock market. It analyses candidate companies and follows them once they have been listed. An important part of the job will be to scout and attract companies to our market. The Pre-Market Environment initiative (Entorno pre Mercado) is one of our platforms to do so, in particular for startups. But most of the IPOs come from other sources, like our partners in the market: small investment banks, brokers, VC funds, M&A boutiques, law firms, etc. Also identifying investors that may fund these companies will be a significative task. In sum, a good knowledge of this ecosystem is essential.
Who will you work with? A young and enthusiastic team of people with diverse profiles and experience. Analytical, but also commercial, very focused on serving our clients and specialized in stock markets for small companies.
What You Will Do
- Design of commercial strategies to attract new companies.
- Analysis and selection of candidate companies (business model, financial statements, risks, corporate structure, etc.). Contact the companies and/or their advisors to present our markets to them. Both for BME Growth and BME Scaleup.
- Identification and monitoring of potential investors.
- Management of files for admission of companies to the market and subsequent financial operations.
- Monitoring of information provided by companies (periodic financial information, relevant information, news, etc.).
What You Bring
- Good ability to interact with third parties, communication skills, public presentations, etc. Ability to work in a team. Empathetic, planning and assertive person.
- At least 6 years' experience. We will highly value your experience in venture capital and startup financing and/or in the areas corporate finance or stock market analysis or sales teams.
- Experience in creating and executing commercial strategies to achieve company objectives.
- Extensive knowledge in the following areas: Accounting analysis, financial information, sources of financing, etc. Financial analysis and business valuation techniques and corporate and stock market law.
- Graduate with a Master's degree (or equivalent)
- High level of English (C1, Advance or equivalent)
