Are you passionate about software-based Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) disciplines? Are you enthusiastic about managing the Demand Management to maximize the efficiency of delivering application releases in an IT project portfolio environment?
Then become part of our Project Management Department as an Service Delivery Manager and help us to coordinate and ensure the delivery of development and maintenance releases for REGIS-TR applications.
REGIS-TR is the largest European trade repository (TR) for EMIR, and offers services covering SFTR and FinfraG. You will work closely with various internal and external stakeholders, in a motivated and dynamic environment in which we are responsible for offering as a TR reporting services covering all the major European reporting obligations.

 

 

What You Will Do

  • gather an overall overview of the IT project portfolio and provide the C-level with insights and status of the projects
  • develop the role of Project Manager and IT coordinator in key projects that contribute to the success of the Securities Services business
  • actively participate in the yearly budget process of the projects and IT applications
  • support IT Engineering teams with continuous improvement tasks: search of synergies, search of efficiency using new tools or using the existing tools on a different way, coaching them in terms of software development methodology, agile, SCRUM, etc.
  • work in a dynamic, multi-located and international team based in Madrid, Luxemburg and Zurich
 

What You Bring

  • at least 6 years of experience in a project management area, ideally in the financial industry and/or related with IT projects
  • experience managing different software-based project methodologies such us traditional ones (waterfall) and more agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, etc.
  • experience in software development methodologies, project estimation techniques, demand management and project portfolio management
  • good communication skills as well as systematic and accurate working methods
  • open-minded approach, keen on listening and understanding different ways of thinking and reach consensus
  • strong analytical and conceptual skills with an attitude of continuous learning and no fear of diving into new challenges
  • fluent verbal and written skills in English and Spanish
