Software Engineer for Tools & Automation

We are seeking a Software Engineer in Tools and Automation who shares this enthusiasm. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing the speed and quality of our project deliveries. You'll tackle technical challenges and implement new tools using the latest technologies and frameworks. Your role will involve cross-team collaboration, with a focus on owning responsibilities from start to finish.
What You Bring
- higher educational achievement in Engineering or a Technology related field
- experience in Java programming, and preferably test development for REST APIs or Selenium and good knowledge of Unix systems as well as popular DBMS and SQL
- overall understanding of QA metrics and testing methodologies
- experience in the use of DevOps tools Git, GitLab/GitHub, Jenkins, Docker and preferably Kubernetes/K8s
- experience in building functional and non-functional test tools would be an advantage
What You Will Do
- develop, maintain, and expand our or set of tools
- identify opportunities to automate testing using a variety of tools and techniques
- develop testing strategies designed to improve software quality and test coverage
- collaborate with Developers and Product Owners to understand their needs and challenges
