 Treasury Analyst

What You Will Do

  • support the clearing and post-trading business of the Spanish market  
  • collaborate with the treasury team in the day-to-day business treasury operations (e.g. cash management, investment in repos, direct purchases, bank relationship management, hedging, etc.) and create treasury-relevant reports for month-, quarter and annual closing
  • collaborate with in- and external stakeholders to identify opportunities to optimize business treasury activities and processes
  • act as link between the two business treasury teams located in Spain and Switzerland
  • participate in strategic business treasury projects of SIX Group

What You Bring

  • university degree in finance, economics, bussines administration or any related field. Further qualifications would be valued (e.g. CFA or AMCT)
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in a treasury function, preferably in an international environment and experience with treasury management systems, settlement and payment systems
  • solid understanding of day-to-day business treasury operations such as cash and liquidity management, investment and portfolio management and bank relationship management (accounts, risk limits, GMRA and ISDA)
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational skills, willingness to travel to Switzerland occasionally and cover markets during international holidays 
  • experience with VBA, python, R or similar script languages and knowledge of Tableau data visualisation tool is a plus
  • very good command in both, spoken and written English and Spanish. German will be a plus
