What You Will Do
- ensure stable operations of the IT applications within the responsibilities defined; promote open communication, give regularly feedback and provide all information the teams may need
- manage and report Application SLAs, supervise the incident and problem management process and support in the incident resolution; escalate issues which need management attention
- establish a continuous improvement process in the areas of application SLAs, application monitoring and automation; manage technical debts
- plan and coordinate with vendor, business and other IT units the implementation and maintenance of IT applications to ensure timely implementations of the new releases in Development, Test and Production systems
- make sure the development and change process are in accordance with the principles and guidelines from Architecture, Security & Strategy
What You Bring
- relevant professional experience of above 10 years; experience in software development, application maintenance and team management
- knowledge about Securities settlement, SWIFT message standards
- Knowledge about reference data is an advantage
- good knowledge in DevOps- / CI/CD-tools: GIT, Maven, Bamboo/Jenkins, Helm 3, Ansible, Argo CD and Container platforms: Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift; working experience in Angular, Java, Spring Boot, Business 4.0, DB2/Oracle is an advantage
- ability to understand business needs, IT requirements and prioritize business needs; ability to manage dependencies and risks
- very good communication skills in English (verbal & written), German is a plus
