Business Analyst

The Business Analyst will ensure the professional research and the subsequent creation of business specifications in close cooperation with various stakeholders. This role will support the data evolutions as well as the needs of the various processing chains involved. In this comprehensive role, the business analyst will translate user requirements into technical specifications to be handed over to IT.
What You Will Do
• elaboration of studies, pre-analyses, and functional specifications.
• design of data models with a deep knowledge of financial instruments and financial information industry.
• design, implementation and follow-up of projects, standardization processes, migration plans.
• analysis of various reference data & evolutions, and other possible historical and real time pricing suppliers
• analysis and/or design in business date models to provide all required data to various delivery products, including API and Cloud products
What You Bring
• profound knowledge of the functioning of financial markets: actors, instruments, mechanisms and organization of stock exchanges, regulations.
• in-depth knowledge of the different asset classes of financial instruments and functionality of the related markets.
• strong interest in becoming/being a subject matter expert in as many of the following areas as possible: shares, bonds (rates, loans, calculations, coupons), mutual funds, warrants, issuers, identifiers, indices, market data, ETD, foreign exchange, crypto currencies, ESG
• Ability to participate in work meetings in English or French, face-to-face or virtual, with multiple stakeholders by demonstrating interpersonal skills, team spirit and being proactive
• Your autonomy, your ability to adapt, listen and analyse will allow you to write clear specifications
