The Head Post-Trade Growth APAC (HPTGA) is SIX’ brand ambassador in the Region, focused on Securities Services Business. The HPTGA is responsible for the regional presence, extends the relevant local/regional service capabilities, manages the respective resources and most importantly drives the growth of this business in the region in collaboration with other SIX Business Units that operate already in the region.
The HPTGA has responsibility for the successful execution of the international custody growth strategy, including the duty to ensure that all laws and regulations applicable in the location/region are being met. The role is supported by the SIX Securities Services Business Unit in Switzerland, SIX Business Units operating in the Region as well as SIX Corporate Functions such as HR, Risk and Finance.
What You Will Do
- articulate and execute appropriate sales and acquisitions plans for the identified focus/growth client segments by leveraging existing relationships, partners, networks and contacts and by reaching out to suitable prospects, building and converting a concrete pipeline into new sustainable income streams for the SIX Securities Services Business Unit
- identify and drive business and partnership opportunities for relevant services and products and implementing new mandates in close cooperation with clients and relevant internal stakeholders (Product Management, Operations, Project Management, etc.)
- represent the SIX Securities Services Business Unit in the financial market as a Senior representative providing respective market visibility (Conferences, Networking Events, Associations, etc.)
- enhance in close cooperation with the on-site Customer Servicing Team, clients, prospects, business partners and internal experts the existing client servicing capabilities in the region
- in line with the SIX Securities Services Business Unit’s Global Client Coverage Model and in close collaboration with other coverage teams and subject matter experts, manage the allocated client relationships across all its facets along the Securities Post-Trade Value Chain (Clearing, Custody, Asset Servicing, etc.)
What You Bring
- experienced, entrepreneurial, commercially minded, highly motivated and proactive Securities Post-Trade Professional with track record in building business and related client relationships and partnerships
- thorough understanding of the Clearing, Custody, Asset Servicing, etc. business/offering, ideally enriched with operational and/or relevant client management experience
- bring an established network in the relevant market/region, accompanied by the ability and recognition to credibly engage and influence relevant senior decision makers
- strong analytical and conceptual reasoning skills combined with structured and thorough approach to drive the enhancement of a servicing hub, solve issues and address requirements in a solution oriented way
