AI Software Engineer with Python

As part of our AI & Robotics Platform team, you will help design, implement, and maintain scalable AI use cases, working closely with Business Analysts, platform stakeholders, and technology vendors. You will also contribute to building shared modules, expanding platform capabilities, and continuously improving the AI development landscape across the organization.
What You Will Do
- design, build and maintain AI use cases - including chatbots and digital assistants, and intelligent agents - ensuring they meet both functional and technical requirements with high quality
- develop extensions, shared modules, and platform components to support scalable, reusable solutions across the AI and RPA landscape
- provide technical support and issue resolution to ensure smooth, reliable operation of AI solutions and minimize downtime
- collaborate with internal and external partners - from fellow developers to software vendors - to define standards, exchange knowledge, and contribute to our AI Community
- act as an AI ambassador by promoting adoption, sharing expertise, and helping elevate AI capabilities throughout the organization
What You Bring
- extensive experience in developing with at least one of the following languages: Python, C# (.NET Framework), Java-/TypeScript
- end-to-end software development expertise on Azure Cloud, including CI/CD pipelines and deployment best practices
- familiarity with tools such as Azure OpenAI Services, Vector Databases (Qdrant, Azure AI Search), and Langchain or equivalents
- understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Prompt Engineering, and ideally, exposure to data science concepts
- a proactive, quality-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills; fluent in English, with additional language skills in German, Polish, or Spanish being a plus
