General Ledger Accountant (RtR)

At SIX Global Business Solutions, located in the heart of Warsaw and proudly recognized as one of Poland’s "Best Workplaces" for six consecutive years, we are looking for experienced General Ledger Accountants to strengthen our team.
The GL team is responsible for comprehensive general ledger accounting and regulatory reporting for both Swiss and international SIX entities. You will be responsible for monthly and annual closing activities for selected legal entities, ensuring compliance with local GAAP and IFRS, while also supporting internal management requirements.
We are currently expanding and looking for four professionals who will also take on specialized responsibilities in the following areas: Master Data Management, Regulatory Reporting (BASEL III), and SAP Key User support.

What You Will Do
- maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- prepare journal entries and financial reports for monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings
- support the month-end and year-end closing processes
- collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure successful financial audits
- ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate accounting policies
What You Bring
- university degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with proven experience in general ledger accounting
- strong knowledge of accounting standards (e.g., IFRS or local GAAP) and hands-on experience with SAP FI/MM modules
- high attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- experience in one or more of the following areas: Master Data Management, SAP Key User, Regulatory Reporting, or BASEL III
- fluency in English and Polish; knowledge of German is a plus
