We are looking for a motivated Expert in Financial Accounting & Reporting to strengthen our General Ledger (GL) Team.
The GL Team manages general ledger processes and regulatory reporting for Swiss and international SIX entities. In this position, you will take ownership of monthly and annual closing activities, ensuring compliance with local GAAP and IFRS. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, prepare accurate financial statements, and handle centralized accounting tasks such as Asset Accounting.
This role is ideal for someone with strong accounting expertise, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to challenge and improve processes in an international setting.
What You Will Do
- manage daily accounting operations, including booking and reconciling entries, and lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closings for assigned entities
- prepare financial statements in line with applicable GAAP and IFRS, and support external audit processes
- oversee centralized accounting tasks, such as Asset Accounting and FX Valuation
- contribute to projects focused on process improvements, efficiency, and automation
- collaborate with various departments to ensure reporting accuracy and compliance
What You Bring
- degree in Finance & Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- at least 4 years of experience in a General Ledger environment
- strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS, Polish GAAP) and financial processes
- proven expertise in Asset Accounting within SAP
- excellent communication skills in English (German is a strong plus), with a proactive, team-oriented mindset and focus on high-quality results
