Currently, we are looking for 2 experienced Java Software Engineers, who will be at the forefront of an international team of professionals, making critical design decisions, optimizing data flows, and creating customer-centric solution designs. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and enhancing an OpenShift-based application, catering to data enrichment and linkage of financial instruments. With the possibility of working partially from home, this is an opportunity you don't want to miss.
What You Will Do
- contribute to the design and architecture of a new application, leveraging your expertise to create innovative solutions
- develop new requirements and functionality to meet stakeholder needs
- collaborate closely with business partners, product managers, architects, and developers to drive success
- drive data standardization, system scalability, and quality improvement efforts
- be part of a small DevOps team covering support and application management
What You Bring
- experience in developing large-scale backend systems; must have: Java 11/17, Apache Kafka, nice to have: Redis, Git or GitLab
- knowledge of cloud computing, particularly with relevant OpenShift technologies and services
- strong experience in designing and building microservice-oriented applications
- familiarity with software engineering best practices such as unit testing, code reviews, and design documentation
- excellent team player with outstanding communication skills, excellent verbal and written skills in English
