Do you want to work in a dynamic team in the area of Content Production of Financial Information? Are you passionate about data and state-of-the-art technology? We need your engineering and leadership skills and passion for designing and implementing new software solutions. As a Lead Frontend Developer, you will be at the heart of an international team of professionals making design decisions, analysing and optimizing data flows, creating customer focused solution designs and implementing features for various applications.
What You Will Do
- build up a new Frontend Development practice within the Content Production area. Align with other areas on frontend technology stack
- participate in the development of new internal web applications using state-of-the-art technology. Optimize applications for speed and scalability
- mentor less experienced Frontend and Full-stack Developers. Act as an advocate for best development practices. Oversee building reusable code and libraries
- ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- collaborate closely with business partners, UX designers, product managers, architects, and developers to drive success
What You Bring
- at least 5 years’ experience building web applications using CSS, HTML 5, React.js, NodeJS/NPM and writing cross-browser compatible code. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript (ES6+) and testing frameworks like Jest, Karma, Cypress e2e
- proficient working with versioning tools, such as Git, as well as Babel, Webpack or CRA.
- knowledge of Typescript, Redux/Redux Toolkit, REST APIs, Sass, Stencil and/or other reactive nature technology a plus
- proven leader with experience working in distributed teams and outstanding English communication skills
