Within the Swiss exchange, Index IT is responsible for calculating all our indices such as "SMI" with high precision. We are an international team with more than 10 nationalities and are expanding to become a global index provider. Our index platform is of great importance to SIX as it is tightly coupled with SWISS stock exchange we own: neither can run without the other.
As Lead Site Reliability Engineer you will be at the heart of the Operations team by playing the role of Team Coach (10 employees, 4 countries), owning priorities and ensuring operational stability.
What You Will Do
- oversee and direct the day-to-day activities
- be the Agile Team Coach for the Operations team
- analyze and translate business and technical requirements into operational solutions to achieve the business objectives
- communicate, present, and iterate operational views and supporting materials with development teams, management, and business stakeholders
- ensure Operational stability of applications & infrastructure
What You Bring
- proven experience as SRE with knowledge of programming language (i.e. Java or Python), and MySQL, Openshift, Ansible, GitLab & Linux
- proven experience in team leadership, supporting business-critical production systems and working in Agile framework
- an understanding of Financial markets/trading experience, including related business processes will be a plus
- excellent communication in English, presentation and interpersonal skills
