Senior Compliance Officer

For our Compliance function support team in Warsaw, we are looking for an independent personality with a strong sense of responsibility as a Senior Compliance Officer with a focus on Compliance Governance, Trainings and Data Management. The position includes a team leader function (two team members).

What You Bring
- legal or economic education (Master's degree), possibly further education in the field of compliance management
- at least three years of professional experience as a Compliance Officer/Manager, ideally in the financial market industry (bank, securities dealer, asset manager) or other regulated industry
- experience as a line manager (at least in a deputy head function)
- good knowledge and strong interest in the topics of data/information protection (EU GDPR, cross-border data traffic and supervisory issues) as well as in IT-based processes, solutions and applications
- independent, proactive and very motivated personality, hands-on mentality
- excellent English skills, any additional language (e.g. German, Spanish) are an advantage
What You Will Do
- leading the local compliance support team (currently two team members) and act as primary Compliance contact for all staff members in our Warsaw Office
- establish and support compliance Governance and Culture in SIX Warsaw Office
- support Compliance function in elaboration of compliance requirements in interdisciplinary projects in an international environment
- creation and implementation of employee training
- investigations/controls, review of existing processes and implementation of any necessary adjustments, writing of reportsc
- close cooperation with the team colleagues from Risk & Security
