Senior IT Governance Officer

What You Will Do
- lead the definition and maintenance of policies and frameworks for enterprise-wide IT Governance.
- support the CIO organization in steering governance, ensuring alignment with IT Governance principles, standards, and long-term scalability objectives.
- facilitate IT steering committees and governance boards, preparing decision making artefacts, documenting outcomes, and promoting accountability.
- provide expert input to senior risk and compliance committees on technology governance, operational resilience, outsourcing, and third-party risk.
- drive awareness and change initiatives to embed a strong governance culture across IT and business departments.
- promote continuous improvement within IT by encouraging standardization, documentation, and knowledge sharing across teams.
- Take a more active role in shaping governance frameworks, facilitating governance boards and steering committees, and providing expert input to senior risk, compliance, and decision‑making forums.
What You Bring
- master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- relevant professional experience in IT governance, enterprise architecture, or a related discipline, ideally in a financial services or regulated environment. (The scope of responsibilities and level of autonomy will be adapted based on experience.)
- understanding of IT governance and service management frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, and ISO 38500.
- proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and facilitate effective decision making at senior management level.
- strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business perspectives.
- fluency in English; German or Spanish is an advantage.
