 Senior Marketing Automation Manager

Then join our international Digital team as Senior Marketing Automation Specialist.

In this role, you will own and further develop our business Marketing Automation strategy in Marketo, with a strong focus on generating Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) and supporting sales opportunity creation. You will define and optimize lifecycle communications across email and other relevant channels.

You will act as the strategic driver behind targeting, segmentation, personalization, lifecycle design, attribution, and performance measurement. In doing so, you will define business requirements and work closely with IT, Data teams, and the Marketo Application Manager.

With your deep expertise in Marketing Automation, you will also steer and mentor a Junior Marketing Automation Manager.

What You Will Do

  • Define and own the end-to-end business Marketing Automation strategy in Marketo, translating business objectives into clear automation use cases, roadmaps and success metrics, while aligning with platform capabilities.
  • Define and optimize B2B email marketing and omnichannel engagement strategies, ensuring that nurturing, lifecycle communications, and automated journeys are relevant and aligned with business objectives across the customer journey.
  • Design, implement, and optimize marketing automation frameworks (lead scoring, lead qualification, nurturing) and continuously improve targeting, segmentation, and personalization to drive Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs).
  • Define and manage attribution models in Marketo, and contribute to holistic performance reporting by connecting Marketo data with Google Data Studio dashboards.
  • Act as strategic owner and senior stakeholder interface for Marketing Automation, leading governance across internal teams (Compliance, Marketing, Sales, Tech, Data, IT) and external partners, while steering and and coaching one Junior Marketing Automation Manager.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Media, Public Relations, or a comparable field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing Automation, with proven ownership of enterprise‑scale Marketo setups and the ability to define and drive marketing automation strategy beyond campaign execution.
  • Strong experience in B2B email marketing, lifecycle communications and omnichannel campaign orchestration, including segmentation, personalization, testing, engagement optimization and email best practices.
  • Deep expert knowledge of Marketo, including architecture, lead scoring and qualification models, lifecycle management, attribution, reporting, and governance, with a strong focus on SQL and sales opportunity generation.
  • Analytical and attribution skills, including defining attribution models in Marketo and connecting Marketo data to Google Data Studio dashboards.
