In this role, you will work in a diverse environment, closely collaborating with various business units and serving both internal and external clients.

 

 

What You Will Do

  • maintain and enhance business-critical applications for financial information
  • develop high-performance and low-latency C/C++ code while mentoring and guiding less experienced engineers
  • renew, further develop, and maintain data intake systems
  • create and maintain technical and operational documentation
  • drive the change to further develop the technical architecture, such as transitioning from a single-process to a multi-threading approach
 

What You Bring

  • at least 8 years of experience in high-performance C/C++ development
  • experience working within a Linux environment and familiarity with Perl or Python and CI/CD tools (git, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible)
  • ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong interpersonal skills; strong interest in learning new technologies and concepts, with knowledge of financial market data being advantageous
  • ability to thrive in fast-paced and agile environments (SAFe agile framework) and willingness to take periodic on-call responsibilities (approximately every 5-6 weeks)
  • excellent verbal and written English skills; knowledge of Polish or German is a plus
