Senior Test Engineer

To this ambition, we are developing a future-proof platform that enables new payment functions. This includes Apple and Google Pay, mobile apps, fraud detection and other innovative solutions for the card use of the future in Switzerland. With your expertise, you will make a significant contribution to the development of a modern and stable hub in a growing and dynamic environment. Shape the new debiX platform and help take the SIX Cards, ATM and Twint ecosystem to the next level. You are a member of one of our Scrum teams and work closely with Software and Requirements Engineers and Product Owners. As part of the team, you will take on tasks across the entire software development lifecycle
What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain automated tests for the debiX platform features within an agile Scrum team
- Design and execute UI and API testing strategies to validate system behavior and user journeys
- Expand and improve test automation to increase efficiency and coverage across releases
- Take ownership of test processes and contribute to quality strategy across the whole development lifecycle
- Collaborate with engineers and product owners to identify improvements and optimize testing workflows
What You Bring
- 6+ years in software testing with experience in API testing and in UI automation tools.
- Understanding of REST/JSON services and SQL-based data querying
- Experience with testing mobile apps on Android and iOS,
- Familiarity with regulated environments such as banking, payments, or fintech and compliance awareness
- Very good written and spoken German with strong communication skills in cross-functional teams
