ServiceNow Platform Architect

Do you want to shape how ServiceNow is used across the enterprise to drive transformation? We are looking for a ServiceNow Platform Architect to join our CIT team in Warsaw. In this role, you will take a key role in shaping and governing the ServiceNow architecture in a greenfield environment, with direct influence on how the platform is built and evolves across the organization.
You will design scalable cross-module solutions and drive standards, governance and best practices across the platform, ensuring a secure, compliant and future-ready setup in a regulated environment. You will work closely with the Platform Owner and Enterprise Architecture as part of a structured design authority, playing a central role in building a strong and sustainable platform foundation in a complex enterprise landscape.
What You Will Do
- Accountable for the overall stability, performance and security of the ServiceNow platform.
- Ensure the ServiceNow platform architecture aligns with business strategy and delivers secure, scalable and future-ready solutions.
- Define and maintain the long-term technical platform roadmap release plan.
- Identify opportunities to maximize value from ServiceNow investments and improve service delivery through automation and standardization.
- Define platform and data architecture standards, patterns and documentation, ensuring design consistency and data integrity across the platform.
- Guide teams through solution design, technical delivery and environment strategy, ensuring alignment with architectural standards.
- Enforce technical governance across the platform through defined standards and design authority practices.
- Design cross‑module solutions across ITSM, CMDB, IRM/GRC, CSM, HRSD and related platform capabilities, ensuring end-to-end consistency and overseeing integrations.
- Define and own the CMDB and service modelling strategy (CSDM), and oversee CMDB health.
- Act as a trusted advisor by translating business requirements into effective ServiceNow solutions and clearly communicating architectural decisions and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Drive solution direction in close collaboration with the Platform Owner and Enterprise Architect, ensuring alignment with governance, security and overall platform strategy.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, ideally within regulated enterprise environments.
- Over 8 years of hands-on ServiceNow experience in complex organizations with demanding compliance and audit requirements.
- ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, CIS ITSM – mandatory.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow implementation strategies and best practices.
- CIS CSM, CIS GRC, CIS SecOps – preferred.
- CTA or CMA certifications – preferred.
- Experience with AI – a strong plus.
- Experience with Git – preferred.
- Proven ability to design secure and compliant integrations, as well as enterprise-scale workflows.
- Experience designing CMDB models integrated with BMC Discovery in complex enterprise environments and governance frameworks – preferred.
- Ability to contribute to Design Authority reviews, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, governance and platform strategy – a strong plus.
- Experience in highly regulated environments – preferred.
- Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken). German language skills – preferred.
