Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our international Scrum team.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, specifying, developing, and maintaining software that processes financial data from over 2,000 real-time feeds.
The ideal candidate is a cross-functional team player with a solid background in C programming and a strong interest in understanding financial instruments and markets.
What you will do
- Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and implement real-time market and reference data feeds
- Write efficient, reliable, and maintainable C code
- Analyze vendor-specific financial data and maintain the necessary technical feed specifications
- Conduct unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning
- Document software architecture, code, and processes to support future maintenance and upgrades
- Stay up to date with financial technology trends and integrate relevant innovations
What you bring
- Proven experience in C programming. C++ a plus
- Familiarity with Linux, shell scripting, and Git/GitLab is required. Perl/Python is a plus
- Experience with Jenkins/GitLab, Ansible, Artifactory, SonarQube, Splunk, Grafana, or Elastic Stack will be considered a plus
- Taking on responsibility and ownership, bringing in new ideas and solutions is your passion
- Ability to communicate and collaborate across teams with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Good verbal and written English skills are essential. German is a plus
