 Transition Manager

With today over 150 employees in Warsaw we are committed to further grow and extend our workforce over the next 2 years.

In this context we are currently looking for additional Transition Managers based in Warsaw for 2 years. Working in a small team with other Transition Managers and reporting directly to the Head of Global Business Solutions, your main objective is to ensure smooth and professional transition of positions and roles from other SIX locations to Warsaw. 

Key responsibilites are to consult, plan and coordinate all transition related activities in close cooperation with business leads and other supporting functions at SIX.


What You Will Do

  • deliver transitions projects in close cooperation with business leads; consult, guide and support them during transition projects, maintaining positive work relationship
  • plan all onsite activities, from logistics, to recruiting, to training and onboarding in cooperation with the relevant supporting functions (like HR, local operations units) to ensure the different steps are delivered aligned with internal rules and policies, on quality, time and in a cost-effective manner    
  • provide regular communication on status to all stakeholders, resolving transition issues, document risks and developing contingency plans; ensure availability and updates of any documentation in relation to transition projects (like business case, target operating model, project schedule, local requirements, archiving)   
  • drive a performance based culture to meet or exceed delivery commitments by delivering input based on key success factors, lessons learned, etc. and recognizing best practices methodologies
  • identify all risks, issues and challenges with ensuring all appropriate recommendation to all stakeholders; continuously optimize the standardized transition approach based on feedback from lessons learned and best practices
  • the position is limited to 2 years

 

What You Bring

  • skilled project manager with proven track record in successfully transferring functions into a Service or Business Center in a nearshoring location
  • strong leadership skills with proven ability to motivate and empower teams - able to achieve goals even without direct reporting line power
  • highly motivated person with a high level of responsibility and reliability. Analytical and conceptual minded with a high client-focus. Excellent communication and presentation skills as well as systematic and accurate working methods
  • solution oriented with ability to drive effective workload prioritization and management, open minded in terms of change and different cultures, ability to moderate even difficult discussions and enable colleagues to come to an agreement
  • university degree (bachelor or master) and  at least 3 years’ experience in a complex global environment, particularly good verbal and written skills in English. German or Spain would be a plus
