 (Senior) IAM Business Analyst (80-100%)

Zurich | Working from home up to 40% possible | Reference 8269

Would you like to shape the future of IAM across workforce identities, cloud services and AI agents? As a Senior IAM Business Analyst / Requirements Engineer, you are an IAM specialist who understands SailPoint IdentityIQ well enough to shape feasible concepts and challenge technical options, while owning stakeholder alignment, requirements and processes. You bring together business, governance, data and technology perspectives, communicate confidently with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and use data to support sound decisions. Working closely with IAM engineers, QA, operations, application owners, risk and audit, you turn emerging needs into sustainable processes and solutions. Customer Focus, Collaboration, Ownership and Trust guide how we work together and deliver value.

What You Will Do

  • Translate business, risk and regulatory needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements, process models, user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Shape and evolve IAM capabilities and governance models across workforce IAM, cloud services, non-human identities including AI agents as well as policy-based access control (PBAC), translating emerging needs into scalable processes and feasible solution concepts.
  • Develop solution designs for SailPoint IdentityIQ by assessing platform capabilities, defining workflows and data flows, and aligning concepts with IAM engineers and architects.
  • Analyze IAM data to identify trends, root causes, control gaps and automation opportunities, and present evidence-based recommendations.
  • Act as the bridge between stakeholders and the distributed delivery team, supporting prioritisation, implementation, testing, rollout and adoption of sustainable IAM solutions.

What You Bring

  • Several years of experience as an IAM Business Analyst, Requirements Engineer or Consultant in IAM, with strong knowledge of IAM and IGA, access governance, RBAC/ABAC/PBAC, role engineering, certifications, Segregation of Duties and relevant control requirements; experience with IAM aspects of cloud services or AI agents is an advantage.
  • Practical knowledge of SailPoint IIQ/ISC and a sound understanding of systems and application architecture, including how corporate systems work together.
  • Proven experience in requirements engineering, process modelling and the software development lifecycle, with sufficient technical literacy to assess feasibility, understand implementation approaches and constructively challenge technical proposals.
  • Strong analytical and data skills, including SQL and BI tools (Python is an advantage), with the ability to turn complex information into sound decisions and clear recommendations.
  • Confident communication and facilitation skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders in English; German is an advantage, combined with customer focus, ownership and attention to detail.
