API Platform/DevOps Engineer (80-100%)

Our Corporate API Platform is at the heart of this mission — connecting internal and external APIs across on-premises and cloud environments. We’re looking for an API Platform / DevOps Engineer to help us operate, and enhance this strategic platform.
In this role, you’ll combine platform ownership, operational excellence, and automation to deliver reliable, modern API connectivity at scale.
What You Will Do
- Operate and evolve our corporate API Gateway (Kong) on OpenShift and Azure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
- Design and implement new features and platform capabilities driven by business and customer needs.
- Automate and optimize infrastructure and deployments using GitOps practices and IaC tools like Terraform, Helm, Argo CD, and GitLab CI.
- Enhance observability and performance through OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and Elasticsearch, improving visibility across metrics, logs, and traces.
- Collaborate across teams (network, security, product, infrastructure) to ensure smooth, compliant, and high-performing integrations.
- Increase reliability and release safety through progressive delivery patterns, capacity planning, and well-documented operational playbooks.
- Participate in incident response and on-call rotations, contributing to a culture of blameless postmortems and continuous improvement.
What You Bring
- Solid experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE-like roles, operating production systems.
- A strong DevOps mindset with proven experience in automation, reliability, and scalable operation; intermediate scripting or programming skills (Bash, Python and/or Go) is desirable
- Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes / OpenShift, Docker, Helm, GitLab CI, Terraform, Argo CD, Vault, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Solid understanding of proxy / reverse-proxy / gateway concepts, TLS / mTLS, certificates, OAuth / OIDC, REST, WebSockets, OpenAPI, and GitOps / CI/CD practices.
- Knowledge of distributed tracing, observability tools (OpenTelemetry, logging pipelines, dashboards), and API security standards, governance, and lifecycle management is a plus.
- A collaborative, proactive attitude, and the ability to stay calm, structured, and solution-oriented during incidents.
- Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
