SIX is the first regulated exchange in Europe to own and operate an international microwave (radio frequency) network which enables the fastest transmission of market data between trading centers. We are the largest microwave network provider in Europe and offer related services through the Zurich-based subsidiary 12H AG.

 

SIX is searching for a highly qualified business development / relationship management professional to help grow its microwave network as well as the client base. With the objective of growing SIX' footprint the foundation is based on developing a comprehensive understanding of the client strategy in order to align our services and business development initiatives.

 

The role can be located at our headquarters in Switzerland, UK (London), the Netherlands or other SIX locations.

What You Will Do

  • business development, relationship management and sales responsibilities for the microwave connectivity business of SIX
  • develop and execute business development opportunities, new services ideas, microwave route builds and upgrades
  • analyze the industry and markets to identify developments and forecast trends
  • planning, preparation and implementation of relationship management and sales activities – incl. regular client meetings – based on market know-how, observation and analysis

 

 

What You Bring

  • min. 3-5 years’ experience in business development and/or relationship management within capital markets or telecommunications
  • solid understanding in secondary markets trading and microwave connectivity
  • ability and credibility to engage and influence relevant senior decision makers (internal and external) as well as to build and maintain relationships
  • project management experience with self-reliant and solution oriented approach to develop customized solutions and implement them pragmatically
  • high level of customer orientation and interpersonal skills, outstanding communications skills
  • excellent presentation, verbal and written skills in English; German would be a plus
