Then join our international Digital Communications team as Head of Social Marketing. The role can be based in Warsaw (Poland), Madrid (Spain), or Zurich (Switzerland).

In this role, you will lead our social media team and own the strategic direction of paid and organic social marketing across our channels. With your leadership experience, strategic mindset, and drive for excellence, you will help strengthen our brands SIX and BME, elevate our social marketing maturity, and enable your team to act as trusted advisors to the business.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and coach a remotely distributed team of three social media specialists, fostering a strategic approach to social marketing, a consultancy mindset, accountability, and effective delegation.
  • Own the end‑to‑end social marketing strategy across paid and organic activities, aligned with business and marketing objectives.
  • Establish and continuously improve workflows and templates to ensure scalability, quality, and efficiency across remote collaboration.
  • Act as the accountable owner for social marketing outcomes, translating goals into KPIs and measurable performance; includes leading crisis management across social channels when applicable.
  • Act as a proactive strategic partner to internal stakeholders and propose solutions in resource‑constrained environments.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media, or a related field, with at least 6 years of relevant professional experience in social media marketing.
  • Proven experience leading remote or virtual social media teams, with strong online leadership, coaching, and people development skills.
  • Deep expertise in strategic social marketing, including paid campaigns, performance measurement, and optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach teams toward a consultative way of working, moving beyond purely executional delivery.
  • Strong process and transformation mindset, with experience building scalable ways of working in complex organizations; fluent English is required, German language skills are highly preferred but not mandatory.
