In this role you will support the Performance and Resiliency Engineering team to develop automated solutions for identification of fault points in a cloud-based solution across network, security, API endpoints incl., but not limited to REST/GraphQL/gRPC, database management systems. Cherry on the cake: You will be connected, supported, and have great opportunities to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced, innovative global company. Start date: This summer. Duration: 6 months.
What You Will Do
- support the team and other IT groups like Site Reliability Engineering, Security and Development to establish a state-of-the-art chaos engineering setup
- design bots to test the robustness/resiliency of the various elements/components of our platform
- train bots to become as autonomous as possible
- integrate these bots in the various environments so that they can execute themselves independently on defined intervals
- develop automated reporting and test results analysis capabilities
What You Bring
- data science, computer science student or recent graduate
- familiar with Java/Kotlin/Scala, JavaScript/Typescript or Graphql or REST
- familiar with cloud technologies Docker, Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure or similar and networking fundamentals
- familiar with distributed computing frameworks like Akka, Apache Kafka, etc.
- willingness to collaborate and work autonomously paired with good time management skills
- quick learner, curious about new technology and strong interest in the latest developments in the financial industry
