 Junior Project Manager - Post Merger Integration and Separation

As part of its growth strategy, SIX has completed several large (e.g. carve-out of SIX Payment Services, acquisition of the Spanish exchange BME) and smaller (e.g. acquisition of Aduno, investment in Ultumus) M&A transactions and intends to continue to do so. Managing the integration of acquisitions (and in certain cases preparing a separation) is an essential lever for value creation. 


You will be responsible to lead and support projects across all business units of SIX. As part of the dynamic and diverse SIX Strategy and M&A team within the CFO organization, you will drive post merger integrations and separations across SIX, working closely with colleagues from M&A, Finance & Services, IT, business and other stakeholders from all areas of the organization.



What you will do

Lead smaller post merger integration and/or separation projects, particularly:

  • Represent the PMI team during the M&A phase
  • Coordinate the set-up of Legal Entities
  • Manage and align with relevant internal and external stakeholders


Support complex post merger integration and/or separation projects, particularly: 

  • Work together with diverse project teams including consultants
  • Help to develop integration concepts and strategies tailored to SIX’ process and IT landscape
  • Help to develop recommendations for senior management

What you bring

  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar function/position (supporting integration/separation projects)
  • university degree, ideally with a specialization in business, finance, economics or engineering
  • consulting or similar background and experience in the financial sector is an advantage
  • ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders, working across the matrix, IT know-how is an advantage
  • fluent English and German, Spanish is an advantage
