We are looking for a bright mind to help us move forward. You will work in a diverse environment in close cooperation with various business units, and both internal and external clients.
We are responsible for the operation, optimization and integration of all corporate private and public cloud-based services, infrastructures and infrastructure components in Spain and Switzerland. Cross-functional collaboration and agile principles provide end-to-end services with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. As a Kubernetes Engineer with proven experience and high motivation, you can engineer our clusters and automate our daily tasks. This position is based in Zurich.
What You Will Do
- Kubernetes Engineering: designing and engineering OpenShift and AKS based solutions, ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of these Kubernetes based offerings
- automation and implementation: developing and implementing solutions to automate cloud-related tasks
- collaborating with DevOps teams, projects, and solutions to enhance efficiency, providing expert guidance to DevOps teams
- supporting projects by offering cloud-related insights and best practices
- knowledge transfer: building and sharing expertise and fostering a culture of continuous learning
What You Bring
- cloud-native Mindset: Proficiency in OpenShift and a strong understanding of cloud native technologies. In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in implementing private and public cloud solutions
- willingness to work on operational tasks across various Kubernetes based clusters, ability to meet the highest standards of availability, performance, and security
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills and customer-centric approach to problem-solving
- a positive team player who actively shares knowledge
- excellent spoken and written English for effective communication and presentations
