 Senior Business Analyst (80-100%)

As a Business Analyst, you will be an integral part of our Change Delivery team within the Securities Services business unit. This team focuses on providing business analysis capabilities primarily in the Post-Trading business area. Your focus will be especially in the Repo and Collateral Management business where SIX operates a Repo trading platform and a Tri Party Agent (TPA). In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with an international team of diverse backgrounds and cultures.

 

Your responsibilities will include gathering, analysing and synthesizing information to document requirements and ensure that business and client needs are met within project parameters. Thanks to your strong Calypso expertise, you specify and configure changes in our Calypso based TPA, working together with a team of developers, BAs and Product managers. You will also be responsible for reviewing and testing implemented deliverables.

 

 

What You Will Do  

  • participate in workshops with clients and internal stakeholders to identify business needs

  • analyse the TPA and post trading specifics, especially in the Calypso based components and document related business requirements to meet both business and client needs

  • collaborate closely with the Business and the software development team, being part of an agile development team

  • design test cases, including acceptance criteria, and execute user acceptance testing

  • support answering 3rd level requests on the TPA, if specific knowledge is required

 

What You Bring 

  • Bachelor’s or higher education degree in Computer Science, Finance or Business 

  • minimum 10 years of Business Analyst experience within the Financial Services/Banking/IT sector & strong Calypso knowledge and experience is a must

  • solid  knowledge of the Calypso Collateral Manager and/or Trade Allocation Manager as well as knowledge in Post-Trading areas such as settlement, clearing, or asset servicing

  • stable knowledge and experience with business analysis tools (e.g., use case model, user stories etc.) as well as with requirements modelling techniques (e.g., UML etc.) or design thinking methods. Experience with Agile (e.g., Scrum, SAFe) development projects

  • analytical, hands-on, technical, problem-solving, proactive, solution-oriented, self-motivated, innovative, and flexible are key strengths. Additionally, having a team player personality with excellent communication skills and a strong ability to prioritize and work under pressure

  • fluent in English, German and/or Spanish would be a plus
