Senior IT Business Manager

The CIO Office at SIX supports the CIO in steering the IT organization with clarity, focus, and impact. At its core, the Office translates IT strategy into execution, ensures transparency and alignment across IT, and drives delivery of key transformation initiatives.
The role of Senior IT Business Manager is a central, deliberately broad position within this setup. It offers the opportunity to operate at the intersection of strategy, governance, and execution, with direct exposure to the CIO and senior leadership.
What You Will Do
- CIO Enablement & Executive Steering: Support the CIO in steering key IT topics, including preparation of decision materials, management presentations, and strategic narratives
- Governance & Leadership Support: Orchestrate and prepare key governance forums (e.g., Board and leadership formats) and ensure structured follow-up and transparency.
- Strategy Execution: Actively contribute to the execution of the IT and transformation strategy, including managing cross-functional initiatives.
- Cross-functional Orchestration: Connect and coordinate topics across IT and business units, including managing dependencies, priorities, and escalations.
- Ad-hoc Strategic & Operational Topics: Lead and deliver a broad variety of “CIO Enablement” topics (e.g., mandates, RfPs, workshops, communication formats) with high visibility and impact.
- Hands-on Delivery across Levels: Ability to switch between high-level strategic discussions and detailed operational execution while maintaining end-to-end consistency.
What You Bring
- University degree (technology, business, or similar), B.A. or higher.
- 5-10 years of professional experience, ideally in IT, strategy, or transformation environments.
- Proven ability to engage and collaborate with senior stakeholders combined with clear and effective communication.
- Hands-on, structured and pragmatic approach with a strong “can-do” attitude and the ability to independently drive topics to results.
- High commitment and motivation, distinct readiness to take on responsibility.
- Fluency in English is a must; German is a plus.
