Senior SRE Engineer (80-100%)

SIX Digital Exchange (SDX), a company owned by the Swiss Stock exchange, is building the first market infrastructure in the world to offer a fully integrated end to end trading, settlement and custody service for digital assets.
As a Senior Engineer, you will work on evolution of SDX’s SRE strategy: design and implement tools which make our DevOps services more reliable.
Working closely with the Software Engineering, Architecture and the IT-Operation teams, you will contribute to container and cloud platforms which currently delivers production services to our customers. You will act as an advisor for best practices and state-of-the-art techniques, support the teams in building out new capabilities for deploying and operating their services.
What You Will Do
- Take Product ownership of multiple components, delivering a state-of-the art platform
- Work closely with feature teams and architects on new platform features and integration points
- Manage your team’s deliverables, plan their engagements and keep your technical and business stakeholders informed
- Promote and live sound engineering principles and values in the team
- For 2023 onwards, you will take on Product Management tasks and closely work together with PM Department to develop the Product for future solution
What You Bring
- 5+ years of work experience in software engineering solid understanding of software construction and delivery processes
- Experience in delivering platforms, services and/or integration components
- Solid organisational skills and experience in agile delivery methodologies
- Excellent English communication skills both in written and spoken form
