Would you like to work closely with our regulated business units, specifically post trade, and help develop innovation within the SIX business and interact with the wider financial community to develop and promote the post trade services of SIX? Do you have a strong understanding of the post trade business operating model and very good communication and interpersonal skills? Then, our Public Affairs and Market Structure Team wants to hear from you! We are a highly motivated and collaborative team with wide experience in our field of expertise and are responsible for monitoring and influencing policy and regulatory evolution and managing our relationship with relevant industry bodies active in this field.
What You Will Do
- Performs an advisory role and provides expertise for relevant regulatory developments and standards initiatives (EU, Switzerland, global Standards) and positively contributes increase visibility of the team through active communication and expertise
- Supports the Central Securities Depository (CSD) Business in Switzerland and Spain in internal and external meetings and discussions
- Fosters information exchange concerning the industry associations and ECB
- Represent and provide coordination for a number of external bodies and associations including ECSDA, the ECB T2S National Stakeholder Group (NSG), representing Switzerland and Liechtenstein in various AmiSECO stakeholder groups and liaison with the Swiss National Stakeholder Group and the Swiss Post Trade Council
- These roles include providing expertise, insight and data to develop policy development, consultation feedback, logistics covering meeting management, alignment with other groups or internal experts or business units and support covering business analysis, messaging, strategy and agenda development
- Represent the team in business, corporate projects, taskforces and working groups
What You Bring
- Some years of professional experience in the financial market environment, preferably in post trade or payments services
- Good understanding of domestic and European financial market regulation and an interest in global post trade standards
- High flexibility and ability to work independently and under pressure
- Structured way of thinking and working with open communication skills
- Professional level of communication skills in English and German. Spanish is an advantage
